Welcome





This EVA is a resource for the autonomous work of all groups and also to reinforce the learning process that the students have been building. Additionally, this EVA can be used as a resource for parents to work with their children and together reinforce, build new knowledge, and most importantly, interact and have a great time learning.

The topic will be MY FAMILY.  

Grade: 2°


General Objective


Students will be able to name and describe the different members of their family.


Specific Objective 

  1. Students will identify the different types of families.
  2. Students will recognize which type of family they have.
  3. Students will name the members of their families.
  4. Students will describe using the physical appearance of their family.
  5. Students will show and present their family.








A family is a group of people who share common ancestors. There are different types of families. 


 TYPES OF FAMILIES

There are 6 different family types and each one has a unique family dynamic. 

Nuclear family: The nuclear family is the traditional type of family structure. This family type consists of two parents and children. 




Single parent: Single-parent families consist of one parent with one or more kids. 



Extended family: Extended families are families with two or more adults who are related through blood or marriage, usually along with children. 




Childless family: Childless families are families with two parents who cannot have or do not want kids. 



Stepfamily: A stepfamily is when two separate families merge into one. This can go several different ways, like two divorced parents with one or more children blending families, or one divorced parent with kids marrying someone who has never been married and has no kids. 


Grandparent family: A grandparent family is when one or more grandparents is raising their grandchild or grandchildren.
